Building Resilience While Living With Lyme

Resilience is the capacity to rebound or positively adapt to
unwanted setbacks or misfortunes in our lives.  Diagnosis with
Lyme's Disease is an example of such a setback and will be our
focus tonight.  However, the concepts and skills presented will be
applicable to any type of setback, since we all know that life is full
of them.  Our objectives will be to understand the concept of
resilience, to consider our personal roadblocks to resilience, to
learn skills to build resilience, and to set goals for practicing
resilience.

Western Wisconsin Lyme Education &
Support Group
Hi Everyone,
We saw some familiar faces at the Amery Fall
Festival parade on Saturday.....it was a chilly
morning, but wonderful turnout for the parade.
We handed out over 500 packets of Lyme
information to people that raised their hands on
our way by!  Thank you to everyone for all your
help & support...we plan to attend more local
parades again next year.

We will not meet in the months of November,
December, January, or February.
